4th of July 2018 Outfit Recap
Raise your hand if you are exhausted from the weekend. 🙋🏽♀️ We had the best of both worlds this year for the 4th of July.
For the 3rd and 4th we stayed local and attended the Riverside and Brookfield festivities. I even baked a few cakes and enjoyed some Bloody Mary’s while watching the Brookfield parade. We followed that up with some beverages with our pals and a good ole 4th of July Little League Game. I think the 100 degree weather took it out of us because we decided to forego fireworks and stay in our cool air conditioned house while eating said cakes!
I knew you were coming so I baked a cake…
My favorite summer dessert – angel food cake with home made cool whip and berries!
For the remainder of the weekend, we headed north to Wisconsin for some Lake Life time with our besties and their cute littles who I adore.
Following my tips from my previous post, I snagged these holiday looks from Amazon and Target a couple months ago. Both looks were affordable and stylish! The awesome thing about both these pieces are that they can be worn again all through the summer.
What a steal from Amazon. Snagged this Romper for $14.99 and it comes in 5 other colors.
This Cult Gaia look alike was a great Amazon find for under $30! Definitely a great conversation starter. Also expert tip from one of my gal pals – purchase some cute pouches for the bag for your unmentionables!
LOVE this Target Romper. Only $24.99 and the fabric is so soft. This pattern also comes in a 2 piece set. The off the shoulder sold me on this one. This is a great festival piece also!
It was an incredibly fun holiday, but boy am I on the struggle bus the day. 😅 How was your holiday weekend? Tag @StyledbyMJonesy in any festive Outfit of The Day photos!
Stay Styled,
Michelle
