No time for an in-store or in-home session? Not in the Chicago area? Just more of a digital creature? No problem! I offer a virtual personal styling service just for these circumstances. Shop on your own time, on your own terms, with a super simple process. Let me help you meet your personal style goals. Appointments are done via video chat (Skype or Facetime).
How It Works
So many of my clients tell me how frustrated they are by trying to pull off the look they’re going for. Sometimes clients already have all the pieces, but just aren’t wearing it properly. Other times, clients are mixing too many styles, or aren’t buying the right fit, or not accessorizing properly. Whatever the case, I can help you determine your style personality and build a wardrobe that is uniquely you.
1. Setting the Stage
We start with an initial consultation to determine your style needs and desired frequency (monthly, quarterly, or just a one-off virtual styling session). I’ll ask questions, you answer, and together we’ll design a personal style that is unique to you.
2. Ready set shop!
A digital style book will be created for you with online links to each piece. You can shop on your own time, from your own home, and have these pieces shipped directly to you. You buy what you want straight from the retailers; I will charge you separately for my service fee (one-time only, or quarterly, depending on the package you choose).
3. Virtual styling Sesh
After receiving your items, we will then connect via video chat for a live styling session to go over the pieces you’ve purchased and how to integrate them with pieces already in your closet.
Finding the Right Fit
Most often this service is an on-going one. Clients who are looking for professional looks, or who are looking to build a solid wardrobe often choose to get new boards every quarter, or for change of season. Clients looking for, say, for a vacation look will use virtual styling as one-off service. These clients will get one board for the vacation looks and come back the next time they need some help. Some clients are a combination of both. Whatever your needs, we will accommodate.
Online Personal Styling can also be a great entry point for those wondering what working with a personal stylist is like because it is much less of a commitment than an in-person, or in-store experience.
