It was a whirlwind beginning of the year with work, play, and general day to day life in the Jonesy household. We decided to book a short mini-vacay away to decompress. A beach vacation to Sanibel Island was much needed! It was super low key. Sanibel is such a sleepy town it was exactly what we needed. We stayed at the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa and just ate our way down the island.

It was such a nice relaxing weekend to recharge and just spend some one-on-one time together! Bird worked through the week per usual, but you can’t complain if you’re working poolside. We’re heading back to Chicago relaxed and ready to start the summer! We will definitely be back to Sanibel sooner rather than later!
