I am always hesitant on at home clothing parties. I get nervous that I am going to end up buying something I am not in love with that will sit in my closet until I move it to the Good Will pile. A few weeks ago I was invited by one of my clients to a Cabi Clothing Party at her house. Well I lucked out and found the perfect pair of pants! I am just loving my Cabi “Track Star Trousers”! They were so comfortable, I felt like I was wearing pajamas, haha! I’m really digging the high-waist, wide leg look these days…the perfect look for Sunday brunch with my fam.
I don’t know why I dread going to these things. There is really never any “pressure” from the hostess to buy anything. If anything the pressure is from me, feeling the need that I HAVE to buy something.
So positive thinking — take advantage of these parties. They are ways to get out with your friends and catch up. Plus you have your crew there to give you encouragement if something looks great or honest opinion of something is just blah. Oh and usually they serve wine haha.
And hey, you may even luck out and find a great piece to add to your closet.
