New Year, Old Me

It’s the first Monday of 2019.

Anyone with a major case of the Mondays today? Especially on this rainy, cold, post-Bears loss, Chicago day. Instead of being Monday-ey today, I decided to start today strong and organize my life for the month of January. Planned out my workouts for the next 3 weeks, meal planned for the next 2 weeks, grocery shopped and found new healthy recipes, cleaned out my fridge and pantry, and then getting in my 1st work out with Sandilands Fitness tonight!

My health and fitness took a backseat the last part of 2018 which I’m majorly disappointed in. However I’m ready to get after it and 100% committed to get back to where I was 1 year ago. Health and fitness goals were met before and I know the hard work and dedication it takes, so I know I’m capable of doing it again.

Channeling my favorite Instagram mantra, I’m ready to get my bod and strength back in 2019.

Adding “Drink More Water” to this list!

This is where I stand with some of my intentions for 2019.  My professional goals at the end of 2018, were somewhat easy to figure out. Personal goals were not as easy.  When I was up in Wiscy, I was able to sit down and think of a few. It’s still a work in progress but I figure something is better than nothing!  Now I just have to put them out into the universe and get to work.

Time to get Fit AF in 2019:

  • Get back into regular workouts, 6 days a week
  • Start running on the trail again when the weather gets better
  • Run an organized 5k (which I’ve been saying this for the past 3 years and have not done it yet)
  • Be dedicated to working out in Wisconsin when we are up there for long weekends
  • Commit to counting macros Sundays through Thursdays
  • Be more disciplined with YOLO’ing and Wine nights – wine or clear alcoholic drinks on 1 weekday and 1 weekend night
  • Good-bye lattes

Now that I’ve put these intensions out there, I feel like I have to stay accountable to all of you! Happy New Year, Happy Monday, Happy goal setting to everyone!  I’d love to hear what some of your 2019 fitness goals are or any tips you may have to stay dedicated.

STAY STYLED (and healthy!),
Michelle
