Winter Wedding Do or Don’t?

I’ve recently been asked for advice on what to wear to a winter wedding. Long or Short? Sleeves or sleeveless? Open toe or closed? So. Many. Options. Last week I was at a wedding in Chicago at Salvage One. I took full advantage of the fact that there was no snow on the ground and opted for open toe booties and a little black dress. I believe that the LBD is a perfect go to for any season and occasion. Short or long didn’t really play a factor in my decision making as the wedding was taking place inside and the only outdoor time I would have to bear would be from the venue to my Uber. I did pair with faux fur to spice it up a bit.

In the grand scheme of things, I like to believe that no one is going to be looking at what the guests are wearing because we’re all in awe by how stunning the bride looks. My only DON’T tip for weddings — only one person reserves the right to wear a white dress. So be mindful of that.

Congrats to Meg and Marty! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!

Michelle
