Alrighty y’all I’m gonna start this post off with some real talk TMI, so hang tight and just keep reading lol. Unless you’ve gotten a Brazilian wax you truly do not know how strong of a relationship you must have with your esthetician. Shiwanna and Jan are great! I’ve been seeing them for a few years for all my waxing and other meds-spa needs. Some people invest money in low yield bonds, I preferred to invest in skin-care, self-care, and lashes 😂 In all seriousness, Shi and Jan do an awesome job and make you feel relaxed during services that are not so cozy and comfortable! Their services include but are not limited to lash extensions, waxing, laser hair removal, skin tightening treatments, and more!

🌟 BTR Marketing & Design

OK going to get a little snappy here. I’ve known Brad for many many years. When he started his own business I cannot even explain how proud and inspired I was by him. I was someone who always got my Christmas cards, invitations, and other paper goods online. However when Brad started his business I took this opportunity to think local and shop small. He is my go-to for all things card and announcement related. He’s the creator of the Jonesy Christmas card that arrives in mailboxes across the Chicagoland area and beyond! Brad brings back that one-on-one feel that many of us have lost with doing everything online. Because I work with Brad I am able to create unique card and invite designs. Where do I even start with Chris?? He has been with SBMJ from the conception, even before I left my previous life in corporate America, he was there every step of the way. Words can’t even describe the magic that Chris did with my brand and website. Here is the Chris Depa Design + SBMJ Origin story…I started working with Chris several years ago with my previous employer. I had approached him initially to create a couple print ads and flyers for my division. The work he did was so impressive that our other divisions had started inquiring about his services. Next thing you know, he is the go to marketing and web design consultant that we were using to revamp our entire company’s marketing platform. Fast forward a few years later, I had decided to leave my employer and start SBMJ. I didn’t even have to think about what I needed to do next – Chris was one of my first phone calls. I discovered DesignerShare when I participated in the Inspire Society Tribe event in Chicago. They are a local business that rents and buys designer good from other women in the Chicagoland area. It is a business run by women, for women, supporting women. It’s been a great way for me to try products that I’ve been on the fence about purchasing. It’s also a great way to get an amazing accessory or outfit for an event, without splurging. 🌟 Elysian Nail Spa 💅🏽

If you follow my Instagram stories you know that Elysian Nail Spa is my go to place for manis and pedis. I’ve known Teanna and some of her girls for over a decade. It’s been almost one year since they’ve opened, and their business has been growing exponentially. They been featured in Hinsdale magazine and is one of the best nail salons in the western suburbs. Teanna designed the salon with custom chairs and tables and has created a beautiful and relaxing siding for you to get a luxury nail service.

🌟 FITT RX / Megan Sandilands Fitness

To say Megan changed my life is an understatement. I met Megan 4 years and approximately 50 lbs (😱😱😱😱😱) ago. Her story is one for the books, living a life that included unhealthy food habits and very little exercise. One day, she woke up and realized she needed to change her lifestyle or would be on a short path to endless health problems. She’s now 135 lbs down, an ACE certified trainer, a weight management specialist, a track coach at York high school, and working towards a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Megan has taught me so much about healthy eating habits and giving me an arsenal of workouts to keep things fresh. She taught me about macros which I can contribute a lot of my weight-loss too. It also helps you understand how you can eat healthy but still have a normal social life. I’m so proud of Megan just see where she is going in her career. When I am a wildly successful stylist traveling the world, Megan and I have an agreement that she will be my go to trainer that will travel with me lol. Thank you Meghan so much for everything you’ve done for my health and fitness goals.

I could go on and on about Jackie…oh wait, I have. Jackie is mom goals, friend goals, creative goals, momtrepreneur goals, lady boss goals. Another Day One-er of SBMJ, Jackie is the person behind many of my photos. She’s the person behind all of my website photos and many of the photos you see on Instagram. She’s a local fave for families in the area and has even started lifestyle and blogger photography. She’s so talented but also a great person for me to feed off of creatively. 🌟 Nickson’s Eatery

How can I explain the deliciously amazingness that you will get every time you walk into Nickson’s? Lawwwwwwwwd. 🙌🏾 Every bite and sip just gets me shook to my core. Nickson’s is probably what keeps Sandilands Fitness in business! One of my favorite eating and drinking establishments in the suburbs, we’ve had everything from a rehearsal dinner to holiday parties at Nickson’s. Whenever someone asks me what my favorite thing in the menu is, I list at least 5 things. Texan Brisket Tacos, Pickle Brined Friend Chicken, Nickson’s Salad, Sticky Buns, and Nickson’s Burger. Are you drooling yet?

🌟 Sean Patrick’s Salon & Spa

Circling back to my Top 10 Things Every Stylish Woman Should Own post once again! My relationship with Jenny at Sean Patrick’s Salon in LaGrange is the 2nd longest relationships I’ve ever had. I started seeing her almost 20 years ago. She’s done my highlights, low lights, all over color, dusted my ends, watched my hair grow down to my waste, then chop it to my chin. She’s done layers, added bangs, started ombre, to bleach blonde, bayalage, conditioning treatments galore, and I’m sure will be on board for whatever crazy idea I have next for my hair (but I think the blonde is here to stay). I trust her with.my.life. Like in Mean Girls, my hair is where I hold all my secrets. So I need to have someone that I trust to keep them.  I’ll spare you the pics of my Dora bangs and aggressive highlights.

🌟 The Workshop at DWR

Another entrepreneur that gives me the warm and fuzzies — Andy at The Workshop at DWR! Andy is so incredibly talented and has made many custom wood pieces that are proudly displayed in the Jonesy household. We actually just commissioned him to create a custom wine rack for our bar in our basement. I can’t wait to see how it turns out! He has made us things from wooden wall decor to gorgeous cutting boards to display my delicious charcuterie. And he is also a huge part of our JM Foundation initiative. He has created numerous pieces for our fundraising events which draw huge attention. I’m so proud of Andy for taking his passion and turning it into a business.
