Maxing on Maxis

When building essentials for your closet, The Maxi is definitely a piece that should go on that list. You can dress it up with jewelry, heels, and some glam makeup and an up-do. Or you can dress down with a jean jacket and sneakers.

One of my clients lives and dies by the Maxi dress. It’s comfortable and transcends the changing seasons. She can wear it with a pair of flat sandals when she’s running after her on-the-go toddler or throw a cropped blazer over it with dressy wedges when she’s doing showings for her clients.

The Maxi Dress comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, patterns, fabrics, and cuts. Are you going to a wedding but not into wearing a cocktail dress? Going for brunch with your friends on a hot summer day and want a breezy option? Want to show a little leg, but not to much leg? The Maxi Dress has got you covered!

Real Talk though, I am 5’2 and I have yet to meet a maxi that I didn’t have to get hemmed, even when I am wearing 4.5-inch heels. Now that I think about my 10 Things Every Stylish Woman Owns post, it should be 11 things. Every woman should have a reliable tailor as well.
